The Role:

As a Remote Accountant, you’ll manage our financial records with precision and efficiency, leveraging accounting software to maintain compliance and accuracy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with UK payee experience to work flexibly from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
• Process payroll, VAT returns, and other UK-specific financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and maintain accurate records for audits.
• Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and prepare financial statements.
• Collaborate with our team to streamline processes and support business growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper, with strong knowledge of UK payee systems (PAYE, VAT, etc.).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.
