Automotive Video Content Creator

United Kingdom (Field-Based) Full-time | UK-Wide | Valid Driver's Licence Required

THE ROLE

We're looking for a video content creator to capture the fascinating world of auto glass replacement, repair, window tinting, and vehicle wraps through engaging, viral content.

This is a hands-on, field-based role: half your time on the road with our mobile technicians filming the action, half editing footage into videos that grow our social media presence.

Our technicians complete thousands of jobs annually across the UK. Your job is to ride along, capture the best moments, interview technicians and customers, and turn raw footage into content that stops the scroll.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Field Recording (2-3 days per week)

• Travel with our mobile technicians across the UK to capture content on location
• Film the most compelling moments of glass replacements, repairs, tinting, and vehicle wraps
• Conduct on-camera interviews with technicians to capture their expertise and insights
• Interview customers to showcase their experience and satisfaction
• Document the ins and outs of each job: the challenges, the wins, the emotions
• Identify and capture trending content opportunities as they happen

Video Creation & Editing (2-3 days per week)

• Edit raw footage into polished, viral-ready videos using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Create on-trend content with current effects, transitions, and formats that perform on each platform
• Develop both short-form viral videos and static posts
• Apply consistent branding across all content (colours, logos, visual identity)
• Tell accurate, technically-informed stories that are also genuinely engaging to watch

Social Media Management

• Manage and grow our presence on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Facebook
• Post content strategically across platforms, understanding what works where
• Analyse performance data to understand what goes viral versus what falls flat, and adapt accordingly
• Schedule posts using social media management tools
• Engage with comments, messages, and customer reviews to build community

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• Valid Driver's Licence
• Willingness to travel. We're a mobile business with jobs across the country, so driving is part of the role. We'll aim to keep most filming within a manageable distance from your base, but you should be comfortable travelling further when great content opportunities come up
• Proven ability to shoot quality video content in the field
• Strong video editing skills
• Deep understanding of what makes content viral and shareable on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to tell compelling stories through video, capturing emotions, difficulties, and wins
• Technically minded: willing to learn about glass replacement, tinting, and wrapping to tell accurate stories
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, both on the road and while editing
• Strong eye for visual composition and storytelling

Experience

• Professional experience as a video content creator, OR
• A track record of building your own video-based channels or following

Preferred

• Genuine interest in vehicles, automotive work, or skilled trades
• Experience creating content that documents real work or processes
• Understanding of platform-specific content strategies
• Comfortable on camera and able to put technicians and customers at ease during interviews
