Salary: £30 000 - £40 000 per annum (depending on experience)

About Us:​

We are a rapidly growing vehicle windscreen replacement company dedicated to delivering top-tier service to our customers across the UK. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a skilled and detailed-driven Carpenter who can build custom vans for mobile technicians.

The Role:​

This is a hands-on, full-time onsite role ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who takes pride in their work environment and craftsmanship. Your main responsibility will be to prepare and equip vans with the necessary tools and components our windscreen technicians need to operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kit out vans to the exact requirements of our windscreen technicians.
• Build custom shelves, setup 12V inverter system, and camera installation.
• Be involved in the whole process from design to completion.
• Source and order necessary tools, parts, and materials.
• Install and customize van equipment..
• Ensure all van builds meet safety and operational standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.

Requirements: ​

• Proven experience customizing and repairing vehicles - particularly vans
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and tidy in your work
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Able to meet deadlines
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• UK/EU driving license 
• Clear criminal record

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
