Automotive Data & Procurement Specialist

£500 every 2 weeks | Full-time | Remote | Global Applicants Welcome

THE ROLE

We're looking for an automotive enthusiast who can work from the comfort of their home. No experience required - just attention to detail and a passion for vehicles.

You'll manage our vehicle database in Odoo and handle procurement of automotive glass and related components. You'll maintain accurate vehicle data that our customer support agents use to process orders, while also sourcing and ordering stock from UK and international suppliers.

You will work Monday to Friday - 8AM to 5PM UK time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Database Management

• Add new vehicle models to our Odoo system as manufacturers release them to market
• Update and maintain existing vehicle records to ensure accuracy
• Research and document all glass positions for each vehicle (windscreen, door glass, rear glass, etc.)
• Identify and link correct wiper specifications and other components to each vehicle model

Procurement & Sourcing

• Source automotive glass and components from UK and international suppliers
• Manage the complete ordering workflow from research to delivery
• Maintain relationships with multiple suppliers across different regions

System Development

• Help build our VIN-based vehicle search system
• VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code that provides precise vehicle specifications for accurate parts matching
• Work with Argic codes - standardized glass identification codes used across the automotive glass industry to specify exact glass types and specifications
• Continuously update and improve our custom vehicle database

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical aptitude - ability to learn and work with database systems
• Genuine interest in vehicles and automotive specifications
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
• Comfortable communicating with suppliers
• No prior experience required - we'll train you on our systems
