Automotive Social Media Manager

THE ROLE

We're looking for a creative social media manager who can showcase the fascinating world of auto glass replacement through engaging, viral content. You'll work remotely, turning raw photos and videos from our technicians into compelling social media posts that capture the skill, precision, and satisfaction of each replacement.

Our technicians complete thousands of replacements annually and capture the most interesting jobs on camera. Your role is to craft these authentic moments into content that engages our current customers and attracts new ones organically across multiple platforms.

You will work Monday to Friday - 8AM to 5PM UK time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Content Creation & Editing

• Process raw photos and videos from technicians using design programs like Canva, CapCut, and other editing tools
• Create polished, on-brand content that showcases our work in an engaging way
• Review large volumes of raw content to identify the most compelling moments
• Apply our branding consistently across all content (colors, logos, visual identity)
• Suggest specific content ideas to technicians based on current trends and viral formats

Social Media Strategy

• Develop and maintain social media content plans for consistent posting across all platforms
• Manage our presence on X, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok
• Create platform-specific content that maximizes engagement on each channel
• Schedule posts using social media management tools (such as Hootsuite or Buffer)
• Analyze what content performs best and adapt strategy accordingly

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments and messages across all platforms
• Engage with our audience to build community and customer relationships
• Monitor trends in automotive and social media to keep our content fresh and relevant

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills

• Proficiency with design and editing programs (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools - the more you know, the better)
• Experience with at least one post scheduling platform
• Ability to create and maintain content calendars
• Strong eye for visual composition and storytelling
• Understanding of platform-specific content strategies (what works on TikTok vs X vs YouTube)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Experience

• Professional experience as a social media manager, OR
• Demonstrated experience building and managing your own social media following

Preferred

• Genuine interest in vehicles and automotive content
• Strong visual taste and design sensibility
• Understanding of what makes content viral and shareable
• Experience working with user-generated or field content
